INvasion 06

What an awesome experience it was to be part of the youth event in Swaziland, Africa. Teaming up with our missionaries, Charles and Kristen Young, was an incredible opportunity. I can't begin to describe all that God did on this amazing trip. First, the event went off without a hitch; a complete success. The youth event was called INVASION '06 and that's exactly what we did; we invaded Swaziland with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! With the prayer that God would invade the hearts of the youth of Swaziland, and we were able to reach 1,000 teenagers. I had the opportunity to lead worship at INVASION '06. God showed up and did amazing things. It was incredible to look out and see so many teenagers of a completely different culture passionately worshiping the same God we do.

Please continue to pray for Charles and Kristen because the real ministry is taking place right now. The lives that were touched at this event are now being funneled into local Christian churches that will help them live out the commitment they made to Christ. Thanks for all you do brother in-law, Charles, and sister, Kristen, you are in fact the best missionaries I have ever seen.

Life is a Highway!

Well we just got back from the ATL, in my escalade! It was a great trip that we took 27 of our core staff and leaders to drive up and for 4 days we just shut down the church, it was awesome.

Check it out!

The conference was held at Northpoint Community Church, Andy Stanley's church. You know church conferences are good, but at the same time they make you feel like a loser...cause they just establish principles that you know, but that you find your self not doing...so I am working on all that I am a loser at.

I know you guys know that you are never really there we are all on a journey trying every day to be just a little more like him.

Living the Dream

Living the Dream...

Well that's what I've been doing for the past month and a half, but what an amazing time it's been. For those who don't know my church is doing a huge building project as we finally can see the end of setting up and tearing down every week in the school we meet in right now. Don't get me wrong the school has been such a blessing up until now as many people have come to know Christ in the process.

But anyway the series has been great, me and Kristin have worked so hard as this is the most I guess you would call them deliverables, you know, books, bulletins, pamphlets, flyers, postcards, videos, the works...it was a big step for our promotion department but we took it and took it with stride, I will show all of you the goods when you come and see us. Ha.

the project is a 12 - 14 million dollar project and we are believing for 4 million in commitments by this coming weekend, so our faith is big, but so is God, and we are thinking we will break ground in the spring of next year, and then a year after that move in.

God is so amazing, he does everything in just the right timing, I truly believe that whatever your facing or think you need, God knows and he is going to give it to you when He knows you got what it takes to have it. I know that's deep but just go with it.

So here is what my life has been like since april...

Here is what my life has been like since April...Let's See...

I took Kristin for her birthday to see Jamie Cullum what an amazing show, if you hear about him coming to town you should go, if you don't have a love one to go with go with yourself you will still enjoy it.

I went on my first mission trip ever to Russia. It was awesome the flight was long there and back though, I've never been on a plane that long before. You know they say your feet swell when your on a plane for extended periods of time. But it was incredible to be in Russia I felt like Matt Damon in Bourne Supremacy only different cause I wasn't killing people I was more helping them and saving them. Pretty cool! Here is a picture that everyone has seen before.

We had a beach baptism that was pretty awesome. As a church it was our largest every, we had 75 people get baptized, what a cool thing.

Oh yeah we have our baptisms at the beach because we live in Florida, pretty sweet, you Florida people know what I am talking about.

We went to our Pastor Randy's brother (Rick's) church to check out there new facility for ideas for our up and coming building project, we got to meet a bunch of really cool people, word up Chris, Eric, Abe, and Troy.

We moved into our new house and it is awesome...the bummer is we still need a renter for our other house, if God is calling anyone to Florida I have a home for you with a great deal.

I also had some auditions for the worship team, that it probably the hardest thing that I do. So I am trying to figure out the best way to do that for future. Speaking of team, I was just able to hire a graphic designer and a video tech for the church staff, it is awesome I finally can breath and these guys are amazing. Well things are going good and I am glad to update all of you finally on my and Kristin’s lives.

Thirsty?

Just got back from a great conference that "Passion" put on, it was called the "thirsty conference." I highly recommend going to this conference next year, especially because they way the schedule of the conference goes is 3 years on and 1 off. So you don't want to make the decision to go on the off year, that's a bummer. I know from experience.

The conference was full of great teaching (louie giglio, andy stanley, and francis chan) and great worship (charlie hall, david crowder band*, matt redman, chris tomlin, christy nockles) and great breakouts lead by all the worship leaders and main speakers dealing with anything from song writing to leadership training.

I got to take a few guys from my worship team, and probably one of the greatest things I could have done for them and the ministry.

For Instance, this past Sunday I had a tuff Sunday. Maybe because we had to "spring forward" and lost and hour of sleep or it just seemed after coming off this mountain top experience at the conference the devil was just coming down on me to discourage me. But then after I just thought it was going to be one of those days, Josh (one of the guys that went to the conference with me and did a breakout called "leading up", and it was all about supporting your leader) came up to me and said, "Jordan what can I do to take something off your plate I wan to help by leading up." I almost broke down, I told him, "That's all I needed to hear" after that, everything that was going wrong seemed to be so minuet.

Just wanted to share my excitement I have after being full up with God this week.
